Now that we are supposed to work from home, we may not be able to execute our community-engaged research in the way we originally envisioned. How can we move (parts of) our community-engaged research onling?
During this meeting, we will explore this question by sharing experiences of doing community-engaged research online. Subjects include: How can you do qualitative interviews online? What forms of community-engagement can we organise online? Are there impactful ways to share your research with the relevant community via online methods? How can we use social media to effectively share our research with the relevant community? How can we create online interaction?
Some of the participants sharing their experience with online community engagement will be:
- Rasa Kuisyte, social media expert of Maastricht University, who knows all the tips & tricks for effective use of social media for research purposes.
- Dr. Marieke Hopman, who is currently doing qualitative research interviews online. In the past she has experimented with sharing and discussing research results online.
- Prof. Teun Dekker, who is the chair of the inner-city ethical committee and will help us reflect on the ethical consequences of moving our research online
