Now that we are supposed to work from home, we may not be able to execute our community-engaged research in the way we originally envisioned. How can we move (parts of) our community-engaged research online?

During this online meeting, several UM researchers will give a short pitch of their community-engaged research project, and present a question on how to move a certain part of the research project online. Everyone else in the meeting will then engage in a short discussion whereby we try to answer the question. Examples of questions could be:

  •  "I want to do a study on the mental health of elderly in the Netherlands during Covid-19, and I would like to involve a group of elderly in the research design. How do I get in touch with them online?"
  • "My study on the right to freedom of expression is almost finished. I wanted to travel back to the community in Algeria that I studied to discuss the results with relevant stakeholders. Now that this is not possible, how can I do this online?"
